The Charles E. Schmidt College of Science at Florida Atlantic University is again bringing health related graduate programs and students together for the 2020 “Pre-Health Professions Week,” which runs from Monday, March 16, to Friday, March 20. The week kicks off with a health fair organized by student organizations, a physician panel, and a medical student admission panel. On Pre-Health Profession Day, admission representatives from a number of universities will be in attendance representing graduate schools and programs in the health field, including: Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Chiropractic, Veterinary Medicine, Optometry and more.
Pre-health Professions Day will take place Thursday, March 19 from noon to 3:30 p.m. on the Sanson Life Science Building (SC) East Patio on the Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road. The event is free and open to the public.
Pre-Health Professions Day is an opportunity for FAU’s undergraduates, graduates and the community to talk personally with admission representatives from various health related graduate and professional programs. The admission representatives are available to share information about specific programs, answer related questions and provide information about unique opportunities within their program. Some of the many schools and programs scheduled to appear include the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, University of South Florida College of Medicine, Florida State University College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine, Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Palm Beach Atlantic University College of Pharmacy, plus many more.
