The primary mission of the Student Services Office of the College is to be a source
of academic support for students and faculty. This office coordinates support
services designed to enhance the academic experience of the undergraduate majors
in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science. It is our goal to play a major
role in student retention and to provide students with the support necessary for
the successful completion of their degree.
Our services include:
- Initial advising for all new transfer students to the College
- Freshman advising for students planning a career in the
health professions
- Maintaining student records
- Assisting in registration for classes
- Counseling for students in academic difficulty
- Assistance in applying for the degree
The Student Services Office also includes the Pre-Health
Professions Office of the University. This office provides information and resources for
students applying to medical and other health-professions graduate programs. It also assists
with the application process.
