Sarah Hoffman, a Ph.D. candidate in Integrative Biology, was published in  Biology Open  for her research titled “Three-dimensional movements of the pectoral fin during yaw turns in the Pacific spiny dogfish, Squalus suckleyi.” Sarah works in the lab of Marianne Porter, Ph.D., studying biomechanics and biomaterials of vertebrates. Hoffman was also interviewed by  Biology Open  in the series First Person, discussing her background, research findings, and sharing tips for early-career scientists.  Read more.
