Example: One experiment involving two samples (experiment and control) to be compared for the human chip – the entire genome comes in two chips (U133A &B). This means 8 chips will be used for one experiment. At a minimum, one chip replicate per sample and one biological replicate per sample are strongly recommended (total 16 chips). A test array will be used per RNA sample.

* Investigators are responsible for getting the chips. Authors must acknowledge the core facility in papers as per Affymetrix requirement. * Commercial users must obtain chips under an agreement with Affymetrix.
