Opportunities for Students

DIS Students:

Students interested in undertaking a Directed Independent Study (DIS) in Chemical Biology are always welcome in our lab. To complete a meaningful DIS successfully a time commitment of approximately 15 hours per week will be necessary. Research subjects include synthetic chemistry, protein expression and purification, protein chemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology. Students with backgrounds in chemistry, biology, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, or any related major are encouraged to contact us.

Graduate Students:

We have one opening for a highly motivated graduate student with a strong interest to investigate the molecular mechanisms of RAGE signaling. The candidate should have basic knowledge of protein chemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and chemical biology. Prior lab experience is a plus. Candidates with a BS degree in chemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, or any related discipline are encouraged to apply. Please contact us to learn more about possible graduate research projects or to visit the lab.
