Research

1. Development and redevelopment of new courses for the Undergraduate Chemistry curriculum designed to facilitate a deeper understanding of foundational concepts via novel technologies and pedagogical approaches that facilitate student learning.

2. Development and redevelopment of the General Chemistry I Lab experiments to improve both student enthusiasm and comprehension of abstract theory through valuable hands-on experimentation.

3. Participates in the development of a WAC-based writing-intensive course for the Undergraduate Chemistry curriculum, Advanced General Chemistry II course (CHM 2051), that focuses on the use of writing to facilitate critical thinking skills while concomitantly preparing the next generation of scientists to produce academic-level writing suitable for publication.
