The Integrative Biology Program is proud to announce the graduation of the first three IB-PhD students

The Integrative Biology Program, which was initiated in 2004, is proud to announce the graduation of the first three IB-PhD students. The three candidates nicely represent the “integrative” nature of the Program doing research in three different areas of life science.

  • Janelle Lauder-Fields received her degree with Dr. Keith Brew for studies of “Topological specificity in Inhibitor recognition by proteolytic enzymes”
  • Timothy Theisen received his degree for work done with Dr. Jay Baldwin on “Population structure, movement patterns and habitat preferences of Wahoo”.
  • Patricia Keating received her degree for work with Dr. James Hartman on “Generation of monocyte derived dendritic cells specific for the idiotype of systemic lupus”
