The Integrative Biology Program, which was initiated in 2004, is proud to announce the graduation of the first three IB-PhD students. The three candidates nicely represent the “integrative” nature of the Program doing research in three different areas of life science.
Janelle Lauder-Fields received her degree with Dr. Keith Brew for studies of “Topological specificity in Inhibitor recognition by proteolytic enzymes”
Timothy Theisen received his degree for work done with Dr. Jay Baldwin on “Population structure, movement patterns and habitat preferences of Wahoo”.
Patricia Keating received her degree for work with Dr. James Hartman on “Generation of monocyte derived dendritic cells specific for the idiotype of systemic lupus”
